Please note that the association is still in its early stages.
We are working on a complete version of a privacy policy,
but our resources are limited at the time being.
We want to make you aware of some of our basic principles,
but the policy is likely going to change in the future.
Thank you very much for understanding.
If you are a simple visitor on this website, we do not aim to collect any permanent information about you, nor will the organization try to identify individuals unless they are applying for membership. Due to the inclusion of protective measures and technical services such as reCaptcha, some information about your hardware or software (browser settings) might be collected and processed by an external service.
If you decide to register, we need to collect and store personal information such as your name and address. By applying for membership, you give us permission to make you identifiable within the organization.
By filling out the optional fields in the application form, you give us consent to collect, store and use this information in order to improve our service.
Mandatory information allows the organization to contact you and is required by national law, as we need to maintain complete membership lists and share them with the Luxembourg Business Register. Optional information helps the organization establish anonymized statistics and, in some cases, hand out tailored information to you. We are using Google G Suite services to store the organization’s data and manage access permissions. Sharing optional information with us gives us the possibility to provide a better service to you and other members of the association.
Furthermore, we will use your name to create a G suite account. This account is optional for you to use, but highly recommended as it allows communication within the organization and gives access to files and documents.
The LBR and board members of the association will receive your basic identification information such as name, address and email. Additional information will be treated confidentially among board members. If any part of your information needs to be published, it will be anonymized unless you give us consent to use your identity. At any time, you may ask the administration to change your personal information.
Any changes in the privacy policy will be announced to the association members via email. Any questions related to the privacy policy may be directed to info@gidima.lu.
